Fly Fishing Adventure at the Headwaters
of the Toyohira River

Trek through a deep, beautiful forest in Shikotsu-Toya National Park to a perfect spot at the upper reaches of the spectacular Toyohira River.
Try fly fishing. Read the current and feel the fish move!
Catch rainbow trout, white-spotted char and other fish.
A lunch of thin chilled noodles is served outdoors. The noodles are sometimes served nagashi style, with noodles in water flowing down a piece of bamboo that's cut longitudinally and set up like a slide. Catch the noodles as they pass by.
To warm you up from the cold outdoors, the last activity is open-air hot spring bathing amidst the natural splendor of Hoheikyo Onsen.
The stillness of the woods...the strength of the river current...the sounds of casting...the beautiful curve of the fishing line: You're sure to want to come back.

7:00	Depart from downtown Sapporo. Take a restroom break on the way.
8:30	Arrive at the Nakayama Pass forest road gate.
	Trek to the mountain stream.
9:45	Prepare to wade into the mountain stream and fish.
	Fly fishing & lure fishing
	for rainbow trout, white-spotted char
	Outdoor lunch (Thin chilled noodles)
14:30	Finish fishing. Leave the stream.
	Trek to the forest road.
15:30	Arrive at the forest road.
16:00	Take a hot spring bath at Jozankei Onsen.
17:00	Depart from Jozankei Onsen.
18:00	Arrive back in downtown Sapporo.
